Finished his education with the Sepelec diploma (nuclear physics option) in 1981.

After doing various different engineering jobs, I’m currently Human Resources Manager in the Nuclear Production Division of EDF. This department has 20,000 members of staff who operate 58 nuclear power units on 19 different sites. We’re also preparing to start up a new EPR reactor in Flamanville. My job requires a very good understanding of the different technician and engineering professions in a nuclear power station.

ESIGELEC provided me with a good standard of training, the ability to learn quickly, how to adapt to situations and to be independent.

From my years spent studying at ESIGELEC, I still remember what a tight knit group we were – there were only 60 of us in each year.

I’ve kept a strong connection with the former students association, and with the school as well as I’m part of its Governing Body.

My message to students would be to make the most of the training you get at ESIGELEC so you can build a coherent career plan based on a solid technical background, acquire an international perspective and develop managerial skills which will allows you to progress in your chosen profession
