The metro system has two lines: Georges Braque – Grand-Quevilly -> Boulingrin – Rouen and Boulingrin-Rouen -> Technopôle du Madrillet – Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. This second line is the one relevant to you as a student.
The bus system has a network of routes serving Rouen and the local area.

The first offer is for an annual pass allowing travel anywhere, called the Pass Etudes. It is valid on all routes for 12 consecutive months starting from the date you purchase the pass. To get one, visit the TCAR offices at 15 Place de la petite Chartreuse in Rouen (+00 33 (0)2 35 52 52 00 or 52). Don’t forget to take a recent passport photo, a registration certificate, certificate of housing status, certificate of student status and details of your bank account (an RIB) if you decide to pay monthly.
The second offer involves buying a membership card, called a Carte Campus, which entitles you to student prices for 10 ticket sets and monthly passes.
