Business Thursdays

An exclusive opportunity for you to meet our second and third year students.

You will be able to introduce your business, its sectors of activity and its professions to our students and offer them employment, internships, work/study programmes, international volunteer internships, etc.

Morning :

  • Set-up your stand around 10am in our reception area
  • Conferences in the amphitheatre, with a graduate testimonial, followed by a question/answer session

Afternoon :

  • Speak to students on your stand
  • Individual student interviews (planned by the Student Department and student delegates and sent to you in advance)

Business Contacts Day

In partnership with the SIGELEC (Alumni Association)

A former student who is employed by your business gives a presentation about their career progress and what their job involves. They talk about their company and its employment opportunities, work/study programmes, internships, etc.

After the presentation (limited to around 10 businesses), the former student meets with current students for individual interviews.

Themed Lectures

Propose themes for lectures you would like to give.

After they have been confirmed, we will provide the dates available for you to give the lectures in transversal or technological fields.

For the technological lectures, we suggest that you :

  • give third year students concrete examples of professions directly related to their major, so they are able to refine their choice of end of study internship and personal progression plans
  • provide second year students with examples of professions related to their future major to help them decide which direction to take

ESIGELEC - INSA Rouen Forum

Every year in November ESIGELEC and INSA Rouen jointly organise this forum which brings more than 50 businesses together.

Why not come along to the next one and meet our students? You will get the chance to present them with the opportunities your business offers with regard to internships and graduate employment.

Business Visits

If you would like our students to find out about your business (small groups, by major), tell our Business Relationships Department and we can organise a visit between October and March.

  • Engineer Internships (third year - 4 to 9 months)

Let us know your internship subjects from October onwards so our students are in a position to begin a internship in February.

  • Technician Internships (second year - 2 to 3 months)

Let us know your internship subjects from February onwards so our students are in a position to begin a internship in June.

Engineering Projects

The Engineering Project enables our students, in teams of six, to carry out a project for you under quasi industrial conditions.

Lasting for 200 hours per student (making a total of 1200 hours per project), it is spread over the second and third year of the Engineering degree.

It can also be a multidisciplinary project which brings together students from different majors.

The mission for each team is to :

  • Research the subject with businesses or R&D organisations
  • Carry out a technical and economic feasibility study, validated by the ordering party
  • Develop the technical specification list
  • Carry out the project
  • Publish the result of their work
