If you have completed four years of university

Admission to the second year of the classic taught Engineering cycle

(the work/study programme curriculum can only be followed if starting from the first year)

  • Students concerned : those in the first year of an Electronics Masters Degree or any other field related to the school’s disciplines.
  • Enrolment procedure :
    Number of places: ESIGELEC will be recruiting approximately 10 students
    Pre-enrolment: available on request from anne-marie.ammar@esigelec.fr. To be returned by 17 May 2010.
    Pre-enrolment cost: 50 €
    Specific ESIGELEC admissions procedure: by written application and interview
  • ESIGELEC oral exams: 23 June 2010.
    Candidates will be summoned for a day to Rouen.

Students who reside in foreign countries

  • French speaking
    Students in their final year of a Masters, in a subject related to the school’s disciplines, are eligible for admission by written application and interview, with a view to entering the second year.

    Every year, oral exam centres are set-up in Morocco and the sub-Saharan African region.

  • Non French speaking
    A basic level of French is required and will be verified by the school before arrival in France. ESIGELEC will then suggest taking an AALS preparatory year (linguistic and scientific adaptation year). This comprises of intensive sessions in French, scientific refresher courses, and science and technology vocabulary courses which will prepare the student for entry into the second year of the Engineering cycle, subject to approval by jury. Specific procedures have been set up for Chinese students.
    Admission to the AALS year by written application and interview.

Admission onto MSc. courses

MSc. in “Business Information Systems”

(18 months, in English, starting in October)

  • Students concerned: French or foreign postgraduates, or graduates with 3 years professional experience
    Pre-enrolment: by written application and interview conducted in English.

    Selection criteria: Interview conducted in English (via telephone or in situ) following submission of candidate’s application form

MSc. in “Management of Electronic & Embedded Systems”

(18 months, in English, starting in February)

  • Students concerned: Postgraduates, or graduates with 3 years professional experience
    Pre-enrolment: by written application and interview conducted in English.

    Selection criteria: Interview conducted in English (via telephone or in situ) following submission of candidate’s application form

MSc. in “Microelectronics System Design and Technology” – MINSYS

(1 year, in English, in association with ENSI Caen, at the Caen site)
